Project Manager, Facilities Maintenance & Projects Division

Scope of Position

We are presently in need of an individual with flexible availability who will serve as the Project Manager overseeing the Facilities Maintenance & Projects Division of Cleantec in both Syracuse and Ithaca, New York. This new position can entail a mixture of day, evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Manage multiple Janitorial & Maintenance Projects at Customer locations simultaneously.

  • Prepare and maintain the monthly and annual project schedules.

  • Identify staffing levels needed for upcoming projects. 

  • Partner with Human Resources on recruitment, hiring and performance of crew.

  • Supervise Project Technicians.

  • Manage work crews and track all time worked.

  • Organize equipment needed for each project.

  • Meet with Customers to determine project needs, prepare and submit quotes.

  • Follow up with Customers to ensure project satisfaction.

  • Equipment management, chemical ordering and inventory. 

  • Additional duties as assigned and developed.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid Driver License.

  • Previous experience as a Project Manager managing multiple projects and crews.

  • PC and mobile app. skills to include cloud-based, MS Word, Excel.

  • Construction or Janitorial background preferred.

  • 2 year degree preferred but will accept experience in lieu of.
